For Schools, Daycares, Summer Camps & Senior CentersAt Pingle’s Farm, our Educational Tours bring learning off the page and onto the farm through hands-on, outdoor experiences that connect visitors to the land, the seasons, and where food really comes from. Designed for schools, daycares, summer camps and senior groups, each guided tour offers a relaxed and engaging way to explore the farm — from growing crops and blooming fields to friendly animals and everyday farm life. Tours are thoughtfully paced and tailored to each group, creating meaningful, age-appropriate experiences that spark curiosity, encourage connection, and leave guests with a deeper appreciation for local farming. We call it Education Cultivation!
Why Pingle’s? Because learning is better when you can see it, touch it, and experience it together — fresh air, real food, and unforgettable farm moments included.
What’s Included? All Educational Farm Tours at Pingle’s Farm include a guided wagon ride around the farm, the chance to meet our bee keeper and/or animal keeper, followed by free time to explore our Playland and/or pick-your-own fields (additional fees may apply for select pick-your-own items). Each group will also receive a designated picnic site for the duration of their visit.
Schools, summer camps and daycare groups will also enjoy a special seasonally themed craft.

Tulips & Apple Blossoms
Wagon Tour Focus: Apple Blossoms, our field of ONE MILLION Tulips (what a sight to see!), & what we’re planting! Wagon stops include the tulip field, & animal barn.

Please Note: Tours Booking for May 28th or 29th may be Tulips OR Animals/Berries, depending on crop cycle.
Animals, Bees & Berries
Wagon Tour Focus: Life cycle stage of the apples & what’s currently growing on the farm (hint: 🍓). Wagon stops include the strawberry patch & animal barn. Option to pick-your-own berries when in season!
Education Focus: Pollination of strawberries & apples, bees on the farm.
Craft: Life cycle of sunflowers

The Pingle’s Playland
When you book a tour at Pingle’s Farm, you’re welcome to stay as long as you’d like (during operating hours) to enjoy all that our Playland has to offer! Our market and bakery are also open, offering a selection of drinks, baked goods, scratch-made entrees and gourmet grocery items!
The Cost
20 person minimum required to book. Price per participant is $15 + HST.
If you have under 20 participants day of, you will still be billed for 20.
Groups focused on physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities are excempt from the 20 person minimum.
Teachers, care givers & parent volunteers are free based on the following ratios:
Disability Support 1:1
Toddlers /JK / SK 1:3
Grades 1-8 1:4
Seniors Staff As Required
Additional volunteers, siblings / children of volunteers / chaperones must pay regular admission fee. All exceptions to number of chaperones must be approved in advance of visit date.

FAQ's
How long is the tour?
We typically recommend you allow 3- 4 hours on the farm to enjoy the full experience at Pingle’s. However, customized schedules can be jointly developed depending on the amount of time you have available. Contact schooltours@pinglesfarmmarket.
When can our class arrive?
Tour time slots are 30 minute windows. Please arrive during your 30 minute arrival window to help keep things running smoothly for check-in! However, we understand coordinating large groups is difficult, and if you’re running early or late we understand!
Where can we leave our belongings during the tour?
Upon arrival, you will check in at our admissions booth and your class will be assigned a space to place all your things.
Are there washrooms on site?
Yes! We have outdoor washroom facilities available.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes! Parking is available for additional vehicles that will be joining your class tour. We ask that any buses please be parked closer to the back of the parking lot.
Will the market be open?
Yes! The market will be open for staff and students to shop before or after their tour.
