Q: Do I have to pre-book tickets?

A: Yes! Pre-booking tickets is STRONGLY recommended.  If the day doesn’t sell out we will welcome walk-ins, but so far this season days have been selling out up to a week in advance.  You can book your tickets on our website!

Q: Can I just walk in to go to the farm?

A: It depends! We don’t allow people to just ‘walk around’ our property.  We are a working farm & it’s not safe. You can visit our website to find out what events are going on this month that you can attend.  Each event will outline if you can walk-in or need to pre-book.  If you’re looking to shop at our farm market, you can come anytime. It’s open from 9am – 6pm daily.

Q: I don’t see how to book tickets on your website. How would I go about doing that?

A: You will find ‘book now’ buttons on each EVENT PAGE & also on our homepage banner.  You can find all our events in the Event drop-down menu across the top of our homepage.

Q: Do we have to wear masks to attend your event? Do we have to wear masks in the orchard?

A: Right now we require masks at all check in points, purchase points, in the market, and on our wagon ride. This is subject to change based on provincial recommendations.

Q: Do you allow dogs on your farm?

A: While we love dogs, they, along with any other pet,  are not permitted on our farm (with the exception of special events like ‘Hallowoof.’ Hallowoof this year will be held on Saturday, October 30th.   Support dogs will need to provide documentation and remain vested indicating they are a support animal throughout the event.

Q: Do you do birthday parties?

A: Not at this time, but we are working on a package for next year!

Q: What does the Harvest Festival ticket include?

A: The Harvest Festival ticket (Friday – Sunday) includes admission to the farm, our 8 acre corn maze, the play land, a wagon ride, the pumpkin patch (opens Sept. 25th), live music, and access to lots of yummy sweet and savoury food options (food is an additional cost). You can also add a bag of pick-your-own apples (additional cost) to get access to our apple orchards.

We also have a special discounted admission ticket available Tuesday – Thursday for apple picking only.

Q: Is a pumpkin included in the admission ticket?

A: No. Pumpkins are sold on site by lb.

Q: Is the admission ticket good for one family or is this a per person cost?

A: This is per person, for anyone between the ages of 2 – 92.

Q: What is the difference between the VIP admission and general admission?

A: VIP admission means you can come anytime during your chosen day (instead of having to arrive during a 30 minute time slot) and you can stay on the farm for as long as you like (instead of the 2.5 hour time limit for general admission).

Q: What are maze-o-vision glasses?

A: Maze-o-vision glasses give you a competitive edge in our corn maze! They allow you to view your secret map at ANY TIME! Without the glasses you can only view your map at special check points throughout the maze.

Q: What is open during the weekday?

A: Our market is open 7 days a week.  We also offer pick-your-own apples ONLY (no wagon ride, corn maze or play land) on Tuesday – Thursday.  Our full Harvest Festival experience can be enjoyed on Friday afternoons (3pm – sunset, check our event booking calendar for daily closing times).

Q: Are you open this year?

A: Yes! Visit our website to find out what we’re offering at this time.

Q: Are you open to pick-your-own pumpkins?

A: Pick-your-own pumpkins will be available during our Harvest Festival starting Sept. 25th. You MUST purchase a Harvest Festival ticket.  If you don’t want to partake in Harvest Festival we have LOTS of pre-picked pumpkins available on our front lawn and in the market.  No ticket is required for those. Please check our social channels to see when pumpkins will be available.

Q: Are we able to walk to the pumpkin patch?

A: No, you cannot walk. The wagon ride provides a beautiful view of the farm though, and is set up to keep everyone safe & distanced.  Spots are marked out to keep the appropriate amount of space between each household group, and the wagon is sanitized after EVERY trip.

Q: Do you allow strollers? And can we take strollers into the corn maze or on the wagon ride?

A: We allow strollers, but please keep in mind the ground may be bumpy, uneven and / or muddy in some areas of the farm.

Q: Your tickets say ages 2-92. Does this mean children under the age of 2 aren’t allowed at your farm?

A: Children under the age of 2 are free and don’t require a ticket.

Q: I want to pick apples on the weekend but I don’t want to pay for the Harvest Festival tickets. How do I do that?

A: If you want to pick apples on the weekend, you have to pay for the Harvest Festival ticket. We also offer a discounted ticket ($5) Tuesday – Thursday for apple picking only.

Q: Can we buy pumpkins without attending the festival? Do you still have pumpkins on your front lawn?

A: We have LOTS of pre-picked pumpkins available at our Harvest Market entrance (beside the greenhouse) and in the Harvest Market (in the greenhouse).  No ticket is required for those. These pumpkins consist of classic orange pumpkins of all sizes, gourds, white pumpkins, funky pumpkins etc.  There is something for everyone!

Q: Do you offer pick-your-own apples?

A: Yes! Our apple orchard is 15 acres and has 10 different apple varieties! You can find hours of operations, pricing and what we’re picking on our website.

Q: Why do we have to pay $5 to pick-your-own apples during the week?

A: The $5 is our discounted admission fee.  We did a lot of research to make sure we were staying competitive and fair when setting this fee.  Running a farm is not cheap, and we have to cover our costs (like staffing, maintaining the property throughout the year, taking care of all our plants & crops etc.).

Q: I purchased VIP tickets but I had to select a time. Do I have to come at that time or can I come anytime that day?

A: You can come at anytime that day.

Q: Your website says there is a time limit of 2.5 hours, if I purchase the last booking of the day, will I get my full time?

A: If you visit the ‘Harvest Festival’ page of our website, we have laid out the best way to make the most of your visit to the farm. The last admission of the day will only have around 2 hours on the farm. If you’re thinking of purchasing this time slot, we recommend you review our guide and then decide if you think 2 hours will be enough for your group.

Q: I want to pick apples but I don’t want to participate in all the other activities?

A: Enjoy apple picking without all the bells & whistles on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Tickets can be pre-purchased on our website, or if we have availability we’ll welcome walk-ins.

Q: I want to pick apples, but I also want to go to the pumpkin patch and play in the play land?

A: Then you need to purchase a Harvest Festival general admission ticket, and add a bag of pick-your-own apples.  The apple bag can be added to your cart online, or purchased on-site when you’re here.

Q: I want to book (a certain day) but it’s not letting me. What is the problem? Am I doing something wrong?

A: If there are no options, either that activity is not offered on that day or we’ve already sold out!

Q: I’m trying to book, but it’s only letting me book 1 ticket at a time, why can’t I book more?

A: Our system only shows however many tickets are available.  If only 1 is appearing, that means there is only 1 ticket left for the time slot you’re trying to purchase.

Q: Is the farm accessible?

A: The wagon is not wheelchair accessible. There are steps required to get on the wagon. You are permitted to bring strollers, however, depending on the weather and terrain, they may not work very well as the ground can be uneven or muddy. Please contact our Events Team at events@pinglesfarmmarket.com if you require special assistance.

Q: Will you run the event if the forecast is calling for rain?

A:This is a rain or shine event! Please dress for the weather. In case of severe inclement weather (i.e lightning), Pingle’s Farm Market reserves the right to cancel the event. In such instances, there will be a rain date rescheduling.

Q: I can’t come anymore, can I get a refund or reschedule?

This is a non-refundable, rain or shine event. A 2$ per ticket rebooking fee will apply to any ticket changes.  Changes must be requested at least 24 hours in advance & we cannot guarantee they will be accommodated. All changes must be requested through the rebooking form that can be found HERE >>. If we can accommodate your change, you’ll be notified in 24-48 hours.

Q: I’m confused, the event says it’s 2.5 hours long, but my time slot is only 30 minutes!

Timeslots are in 30 minute increments. You may arrive anytime within your timeslot. Once you’ve arrived, you can stay for up to 2.5 hours on the farm. VIP Admission can access the farm anytime from 9:30am-3:30pm and stay for as long as they like within operating hours.
